Catherine D. Meehan

Catherine "Catie" Meehan combines her nursing background with her legal expertise to advocate for individuals injured at work or in their personal lives. Her previous role as a pediatric nurse at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) for three years before pursuing law gives her a distinct advantage in understanding her clients' medical needs. As a licensed RN, Catie provides empathetic and informed representation.

Catie holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in nursing from MUSC. Her transition from nursing to law was driven by a desire to assist patients in a legal capacity.

During law school, Catie was honored with the Founder's Award for Professionalism in Advocacy and served as Student Works Editor of the Charleston Law Review. Her publications include articles on human tissue property rights and a study on NFL concussion litigation, proposing a victim relief fund for former players with neurological injuries.
