About Jeffrey Vinzani
Jeffrey Vinzani established the Charleston office of the firm following over two decades as an Equity Partner at a prominent regional law firm. His practice is centered on commercial real estate and banking law, with a strong emphasis on intricate real estate and finance transactions. Jeff's real estate expertise spans commercial, office, retail, resort, and industrial development and leasing. He is adept in handling permitting, zoning, development agreements, 1031 exchange transactions, property owners’ association issues, and title insurance. His finance experience includes real estate lending, asset-based lending, and secured transactions. Jeff is well-versed in representing a diverse range of financial institutions in complex transactions, as well as in workouts, loan sales, collections, and debt modifications.
Jeff is deeply involved in both the community and the state. Since May 2015, he has served on the Board of Trustees at South Carolina State University. He is a past Chairman of the Real Estate Practices Section of the South Carolina Bar and has served as the Council’s House Delegate.
He has held two terms as Chairman of the Developers Council of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, which includes members from various sectors of the real estate development community. Currently, Jeff is a member of the Community Advisory Board for Suntrust Bank. Additionally, he contributed to the Transition Team for State Treasurer Curtis Loftis as Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Board of Financial Institutions and co-authored the Treasurer’s Transition Report.
Jeff is Peer Review Rated – Av (Preeminent) in Martindale-Hubbell and is recognized in Chambers USA for his excellence in Real Estate Law.
