Stephen Peterson Groves Sr.

Stephen P. Groves Sr. is a distinguished attorney practicing in the Litigation and Insurance Groups at his firm. His expertise encompasses Commercial Litigation, Appellate Practice, and International Law. Mr. Groves has contributed significantly to the legal field, serving on the editorial board of the South Carolina Lawyer and contributing to South Carolina Jurisprudence. His editorial and writing contributions extend to publications such as South Carolina Civil Procedure and The Law of Domestic Relations in South Carolina.

Mr. Groves has played a pivotal role as a contributing editor for the ABA TIPS' Property Insurance Law Committee's Annotations to the Standard Fire and Homeowners Insurance Policy and has addressed Property Insurance Issues in Catastrophe losses. He also serves as an editor for the CGL Reporter and is a chapter contributor to Misrepresentation in Life, Health, and Disability Insurance Process: A National Survey, as well as Superseding and Staying Judgments: A National Compendium. Additionally, he is an editor for the ABA TIPS’ Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee’s CGL Handbook.
