Steven E. Goldberg

Steven E. Goldberg has been a dedicated attorney at the Steinberg Law Firm since 1993, inspired by his father's commitment to the legal profession. Steven holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and a law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. With more than three decades in practice, he has represented clients in cases involving on-the-job injuries and automobile accidents, achieving successful trial outcomes and settlements amounting to several million dollars.

In recent years, Steven has expanded his practice to advocate for families affected by neglect in nursing homes, where loved ones have been injured or killed. He operates from his office in Summerville, South Carolina, and serves clients at both the Broad Street and Goose Creek locations.

Steven is actively involved in the legal community. He has served as President of the South Carolina Injured Workers’ Advocates and as Chairperson of the South Carolina Bar Worker’s Compensation Section. His leadership extends to the Board of Governors for the Association for Justice (Trial Lawyers). Steven has argued Workers’ Compensation cases before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the South Carolina Supreme Court, and he frequently speaks at seminars on Workers’ Compensation issues.

Outside of his legal practice, Steven is committed to community service. He is a member of KKBE and has served as President of the East Cooper Jewish Community. He also chaired Operation Home, focusing on improving housing safety for low-income residents. Additionally, he contributes to the Coastal Community Foundation as chair of the Grantmaking and Leadership Committee.

Steven was first recognized in 2017 for his work in Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs and Workers’ Compensation Law – Claimants, and has been listed in Best Lawyers since that year.
