Caroline Latimer

Caroline Latimer is a dedicated criminal defense attorney serving clients in Columbia, South Carolina, and the surrounding areas, including Richland County. Her practice is exclusively focused on criminal defense, where she provides strategic and compassionate representation to individuals facing serious charges in South Carolina state courts.

Although her legal experience includes both civil and criminal law, Caroline discovered her passion in criminal defense. She is committed to guiding clients through every phase of the legal process, from arrest to resolution, ensuring that defenses are tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Her expertise encompasses a range of criminal matters, including DUI charges, drug offenses, and domestic violence, all approached with meticulous attention to detail and a strong dedication to justice.

Caroline earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2021. She holds licenses to practice in all South Carolina state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. As an active member of the South Carolina Bar and the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (SCACDL), she remains engaged with the legal community.

Outside of her legal practice, Caroline enjoys spending time with her spouse, Macey, their dog, Yeti, and their cat, Oscar. She is a proud Gamecock supporter, often attending USC athletic events and exploring Columbia's vibrant brewery scene.
