Robert Fredrick Goings

Growing up on a family farm in Union County, South Carolina, Robert Fredrick Goings developed a strong work ethic early on. He graduated in 2003 from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, with a Bachelor of Arts in Government, achieving the highest distinction in his major. His academic excellence earned him induction into the Phi Beta Kappa and Blue Key honor societies. While at Wofford, he held leadership roles as a Justice of the Judicial Commission and was elected Student Body President in 2002. Upon graduation, he was recognized with the Outstanding Citizen Award for his service to the college community.

In 2006, Robert earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he received the Claude Sapp Award, an honor bestowed upon a student demonstrating exceptional scholarship, leadership, and dedication to the legal profession. As a trial attorney, Robert is committed to safeguarding his clients' rights, focusing on cases involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and workers' compensation. His reputation for determination in the courtroom is well-known among his peers and adversaries alike.
