Fred Oliver

Fred Oliver is a seasoned attorney at Derrick Law Firm in Conway, South Carolina, focusing on personal injury and catastrophic injury cases. He began his legal career representing insurance companies and their insureds in diverse litigation areas, including personal injury, insurance coverage, premises liability, homeowners’ association disputes, and trucking litigation.

Born and raised in Myrtle Beach, Fred graduated from Socastee High School before attending the University of South Carolina, where he developed a lasting loyalty to the Gamecocks. He earned his law degree from the Charleston School of Law in 2012.

Before joining Derrick Law Firm, Fred gained valuable experience at civil defense firms, representing businesses, insurance companies, trucking companies, and individuals in state and federal courts. His advocacy skills were further demonstrated when he successfully argued before the South Carolina Court of Appeals.
