Michael Travis Hyman

Michael Travis Hyman, a native of Conway, South Carolina, completed his education at Conway High School, where he was an active baseball player. He earned his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Finance, graduating cum laude from the University of South Carolina in 2008, with a minor in Political Science. Following his graduation from law school in May 2011, he passed the South Carolina Bar Exam and began practicing law in the state that same year.

Travis started his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Michael Nettles, Circuit Court Judge for the Twelfth Judicial Circuit. From 2012 to 2015, he served as an Assistant Solicitor in the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit's Solicitor’s Office. His tenure from 2015 to 2020 at The Hyman Law Group, P.A. saw him handling a variety of civil litigation matters, with a primary focus on representing plaintiffs injured by negligent motorists on South Carolina's highways.

As an accomplished litigator, Travis has achieved successful outcomes for numerous clients involved in car accidents due to the negligence of other drivers. His current practice is centered on representing clients in cases related to automobile accidents, personal injury, workers' compensation, tractor-trailer collisions, catastrophic injury, premises liability, wrongful death, and insurance bad faith.

Travis is also actively engaged in community service. He is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Waccamaw Sertoma Club, and he serves on the Board of Directors for Conway Solid Gold, the Conway High School Athletic Booster Club. Travis resides in Conway with his wife, Beth Hyman, their son Hamp, and their English Black Lab, Reese.
