Stacy Jo Townsend

Stacy Jo Townsend hails from Williamstown, West Virginia, and pursued her undergraduate studies at Coastal Carolina University. There, she excelled academically, joining the National Honor Society for Leadership and Success, Triota Honor Society, Order of Omega Honor Society, and Phi Sigma Tau Honor Society. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Criminology, and a minor in Pre-Law.

During her time in law school, Stacy gained practical experience as a real estate paralegal, client coordinator, and closing administrator at a firm in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This diverse role honed her skills in delivering high-quality work, meticulous attention to detail, and effective time management.

Stacy furthered her education at Savannah Law School, graduating cum laude. She actively participated in the Real Estate Law Society, Business Law Society, Delta Theta Phi, and Animal Law Society. Her legal credentials include admission to practice in the State of West Virginia, the Southern District of West Virginia, the State of South Carolina, and the State of North Carolina.

Prior to joining The Derrick Law Firm, Stacy represented employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation cases. Her collaboration with skilled defense attorneys provided her with valuable insights into defense strategies.
