William Grammer

William Grammer is an accomplished attorney with a focus on criminal defense, serving clients from his office in Conway, South Carolina. He holds bar admissions in the State of South Carolina, the U.S. Federal District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

His professional memberships include the American Bar Association, South Carolina Bar, and the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also affiliated with the Horry County Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. As a founding member of the Myrtle Beach Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, he actively contributes to the legal community.

William is a life member of the National Rifle Association and is involved with the South Carolina State Constable Alliance, Southern States Police Benevolent Association, and the S.C. Concealed Weapons Instructors Association. His interests extend to the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and the American Radio Relay League (ARRL).

With a robust background in law enforcement, William served over a decade in various roles, including Patrol Officer, Narcotics Investigator, and Patrol Shift Lieutenant. He has experience as a K-9 Handler and Trainer, and in aerial narcotics interdiction. Additionally, he has held the position of Patrol Division and Communications Division Commander.

An educator at heart, William has been a former Adjunct Professor at Horry-Georgetown Technical College and serves as a South Carolina Concealable Weapons Course Instructor. He is a certified NRA Law Enforcement and Civilian Firearms Instructor and teaches legal courses for the South Carolina State Constable’s program.

Outside the courtroom, William enjoys sport aviation, SCUBA diving, HAM radio as an Amateur Extra class (KW4W), and motorcycling in both sport and touring capacities.
