Nataliya N. Matejka

Nataliya N. Matejka is a committed attorney based in Dorchester County, South Carolina, focusing on landlord-tenant law and small business advocacy. Raised in Washington State after her family sought asylum from Ukraine in the early 1990s, Nataliya's early interests in justice led her to pursue a career in law. She settled in Mt. Pleasant, SC, after marrying and has since been dedicated to helping clients improve their lives through legal support.

Nataliya earned her law degree from the Charleston School of Law while managing a property management business and raising four daughters. During her studies, she was active in various organizations, serving as a Senator on the Student Bar Association, founding the JD Heavy Weights mock trial competition, and participating in the CSOL Federal Bar Association, Christian Legal Society, Women in Law, Phi Delta Phi, and the Second Amendment Association.

With over two decades of experience as a property manager, Nataliya successfully expanded an investor portfolio from zero to 56 properties in three years, overseeing acquisitions, renovations, and sales. In 2013, she founded Family Owned Property Management, managing over 500 military and investor-owned properties in the Lowcountry.
