Susan E. Williams

Susan E. Williams, a native of South Carolina, grew up in the rural midlands, enjoying outdoor activities like fishing and swimming in the Edisto River. Her early years were marked by a strong dedication to education, which she pursued at the University of South Carolina, proudly supporting the Gamecocks.

A pivotal moment in her life occurred when she was a victim of a carjacking, which inspired her to pursue a career in Criminal Justice. She completed internships at the SC State House and Richland County Drug Court, which further solidified her interest in law. Susan graduated from USC in just three and a half years with a 3.7 GPA, having taken summer courses and utilizing her AP credits.

Throughout her educational journey, Susan held various part-time jobs, from babysitting and working in retail to tutoring and assisting students with disabilities. Her role as a courier at Tompkins and McMaster Law Firm in Columbia provided her with valuable insights and encouragement from seasoned lawyers.

Susan was the first attorney in her family, and her hard work and determination have paved the way for her successful legal career. Her story is a testament to the power of perseverance and dedication.
