Alexander P. Lewis

Alexander P. Lewis is a committed attorney with deep roots in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He completed his high school education at Spartanburg High School and pursued higher education at Clemson University, graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. During his time at Clemson, Alex was actively involved in the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and the William T. Howell Pre-Law Society.

Following his undergraduate studies, Alex attended the Charleston School of Law, where he graduated in 2010. His law school tenure was marked by significant achievements, including serving as the Student Body President and receiving the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Civil Procedure. He was also inducted into the James L. Petigru Inn of Court.

After law school, Alex returned to Spartanburg, gaining extensive experience working with various local attorneys. His practice areas include medical malpractice, large-scale class action litigation, automobile accidents, and probate matters, providing him with the versatility to assist a wide array of clients. He is admitted to practice in all South Carolina state and federal courts.

Alex is actively engaged in his community, serving on the board of the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium. His dedication to the legal profession was recognized by the Spartanburg County Bar Association, which named him the 2017 C. Bruce Littlejohn Young Lawyer of the Year. Outside of his professional life, Alex enjoys supporting Clemson Athletics and spending time with his wife, Mary Towles Darby Lewis, and their two dogs.
