Christopher Brough

Christopher D. Brough established The Brough Law Firm in 2005, bringing his extensive legal expertise to Gaffney, South Carolina. Before founding his firm, he worked at the Spartanburg County Public Defender's Office for two years. Admitted to practice in South Carolina in 2003, Mr. Brough is also authorized to appear before the United States District Court of South Carolina and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Mr. Brough earned his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 2003, where he distinguished himself as the managing editor of the Syracuse Journal of International Law & Commerce. He also served as the intercollegiate competitions director for Moot Court and was a member of the 2002 Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Team in Vienna, Austria. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the National Order of Barristers.

His undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Notre Dame, where he majored in Finance and Computer Applications. During his time there, he was a member of the University's Fencing Team, earning Monogram honors, and remains an active participant in the University of Notre Dame Monogram Club.

In his legal career, Mr. Brough has achieved an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the Spartanburg County Bar Association, the National Trial Lawyers Association Top 100 Lawyers for South Carolina, and the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. He is also affiliated with the National College for DUI Defense and the American Bar Association. Mr. Brough's accolades include a Lifetime Achievement award from America's Top 100 Attorneys for South Carolina and recognition by America's Most Honored Professionals as being in the top 1%. He is a Lifetime V.I.P. member of Strathmore's Who's Who Registry & Global Network for Outstanding Professionals.
