John Belton White Jr.

John B. White Jr. has built a distinguished legal career over 40 years, participating in hundreds of jury trials and securing numerous successful settlements. A notable achievement in his career is a $327-million jury verdict against Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals in 2011. In recognition of his expertise, John was appointed by Governor Henry McMaster as Chairman of the Board of the South Carolina Transportation Infrastructure Bank.

John has been consistently acknowledged as a Best Lawyer in America since 2007 and has been listed as a South Carolina Super Lawyer for the past ten years. His professional involvement extends to the state chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the American Association for Justice, alongside various leadership roles in legal associations.

A graduate of Wofford College with a B.S. degree in biology in 1972, John served in the U.S. Army before pursuing his law degree at the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating in 1975.
