David Johnston

David Johnston offers comprehensive legal services across South Carolina, focusing on personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. With decades of experience, he is committed to helping clients obtain full and fair compensation for injuries sustained on the job or due to others' negligence. David prioritizes personalized service and strives for positive outcomes in every case.

David began his academic journey with a BA in computer science from East Carolina University. He then pursued his legal education at Campbell University School of Law, where he served as the Court of Appeals Editor for the Campbell Law Observer and was recognized as a Moot Court Finalist.

Upon graduating, David gained extensive experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, Social Security law, and estate planning at leading firms throughout the Carolinas. His legal career also includes serving as a legal advisor for private security firms during the Iraqi conflict in Baghdad in 2004, collaborating with organizations such as Sabre International Security, American Iraqi Solutions Group, and Special Operations Consultant (SOC) International Security.

David played a key role in establishing a 1,500-man guard force at Victory Base Complex, safeguarding high-ranking military officials. A Charleston resident for nearly 20 years, David remains dedicated to assisting South Carolinians with the same commitment he demonstrated during his international service.
