About James H. Price IV

James H. Price IV was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. He pursued his undergraduate education at the University of South Carolina, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in English and joining a national honors fraternity. Following his passion for law, he earned his law degree from the Charleston School of Law in 2011.

After successfully passing the South Carolina Bar exam, James began his legal career as an Assistant Solicitor with the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office in Greenville County. In this public role, he gained invaluable experience in the criminal justice system, managing hundreds of cases from start to finish, many of which proceeded to jury trials.

During his five-year tenure as an Assistant Solicitor, James gained extensive courtroom and trial experience, prosecuting a wide array of misdemeanor and felony cases. This experience was instrumental in refining his litigation skills.

In 2016, James transitioned to private practice, joining his father and sister at the Price Law Firm, P.A.. He is an active member of the Greenville County Bar Association, the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Greenville Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
