About Christopher Fedalei
Christopher Fedalei was born in Hawaii and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina, due to his family's military background. He attended Spartanburg High School and pursued a double major in Political Science and Philosophy at the University of South Carolina, graduating from the USC School of Law in 2015.
During law school, Christopher dedicated his summers to working as a law clerk, focusing on legal research and policy advocacy for low-income South Carolinians. Through the Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps JD program, he provided crucial legal assistance to underfunded communities. He also earned scholastic awards, appeared on the Dean’s List, and served as Treasurer for the Public Interest Law Society.
After law school, Christopher ran for the U.S. House of Representatives to represent Greenville and Spartanburg Counties, with a campaign centered on criminal justice reform. Although he didn't win, he realized he could make a more direct impact through legal practice.
Christopher subsequently joined the Office of the Public Defender in Greenwood, SC, and later in Greenville. Since 2015, he has been a member in good standing of the South Carolina Bar Association and is admitted to practice in both South Carolina and Federal courts.
In 2022, he co-founded FR Law LLC, where he focuses on criminal law, defending clients in Greenville County and across upstate South Carolina. His experience as a public defender informs his private practice, allowing him to protect individual rights while considering the broader criminal justice system.
Outside of his professional life, Christopher enjoys playing soccer, savoring good food, and spending time outdoors.
