Nataliya N. Matejka

Nataliya N. Matejka is a seasoned attorney in Greenville, South Carolina, specializing in landlord-tenant law and assisting small business owners in achieving their objectives. Born in Ukraine, she and her family sought asylum in the United States in the early 1990s, fleeing the KGB regime. She grew up in a small town on Puget Sound, Washington, before moving to Mt. Pleasant, SC, after marrying her husband.

Nataliya's journey into law was influenced by her personal experiences and a deep-seated desire to fight for justice. She earned her law degree from the Charleston School of Law while raising four daughters and managing a property business. During her studies, she was a Senator on the Student Bar Association and founded the JD Heavy Weights mock trial competition. She also held board positions with the CSOL Federal Bar Association and Christian Legal Society, and was active in Women in Law, Phi Delta Phi, and the Second Amendment Association.

With over two decades of experience in property management, Nataliya successfully expanded an investor portfolio from zero to 56 properties in three years, handling all aspects from purchase to sale. In 2013, she founded Family Owned Property Management, managing over 500 properties, including military and investor-owned estates in the Lowcountry.

Her personal experiences as both a landlord and tenant have shaped her passion for helping others. Inspired by her mentors, Nataliya combines her property management expertise with her legal knowledge to provide valuable support to her clients.
