Steve Wayne Sumner

Steve Wayne Sumner is a seasoned criminal defense attorney who has been practicing in Greenville, South Carolina, since 1995. He holds a degree from the USC School of Law, where he graduated in 1992. During his time at USC, Steve was recognized for his academic excellence by being named to the "Order of the Wig and Robe" and was part of the Mock Trial Competition winning team, advancing to the Southeastern regional competition.

Steve began his legal career as a state court prosecutor from 1992 to 1994, primarily handling cases involving DUI, Felony DUI, Reckless Homicide, and Traffic offenses. This experience laid the groundwork for his expertise in criminal defense.
