Anthony Hohn

Anthony Hohn, a native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is a seasoned litigation attorney at Davenport, Evans, Hurwitz & Smith, LLP. Since joining the firm in 2008, he has developed a robust practice in commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, employment litigation, and condemnation litigation. Anthony advanced to partner in 2014, reflecting his dedication and expertise.

Anthony's legal journey began with an internship at the firm in 2006. He graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2007, where he was the lead articles editor for the South Dakota Law Review. Upon graduation, he served as a law clerk for the South Dakota Second Judicial Circuit, covering Minnehaha and Lincoln counties.

In recognition of his professional accomplishments, Anthony was named the 2016 Young Lawyer of the Year by the State Bar of South Dakota and served as President of the Second Judicial Circuit Bar Association. His expertise is further acknowledged by his ranking in the top 5% of practicing lawyers in South Dakota by Great Plains Super Lawyers in Civil Litigation: Defense. He was also listed as a Rising Star by Great Plains Super Lawyers in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
