David Earl Phillips

David Earl Phillips began his career in Bankruptcy Law immediately after being admitted to the Bar in 1986. With a focus on Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 cases, he has filed more than 7,000 bankruptcy cases over the past three decades. His dedication to Consumer Bankruptcy is evident in his Board Certification, earned in 1995.

David operates a small office practice alongside his wife, Debbie Phillips, who has been his paralegal since the early days. This family-oriented approach extends to their son, Justin, and David's father, who have also contributed to the practice. This familial environment underscores their commitment to providing personalized service to each client.

For nearly 30 years, David has maintained his office in Donelson, a community where he and Debbie have lived throughout their 37-year marriage. Outside of work, they enjoy exploring Tennessee and Kentucky on their Harley, as active members of the Music City Chapter of the Harley Owners Group, having logged over 150,000 miles.
