Leigh Anne St. Charles

Leigh Anne St. Charles leads the Nashville office of Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight as the Managing Partner and serves as Firmwide Co-Head of Litigation. She also co-chairs the firm's Discrimination and Harassment and Financial Mismanagement and ERISA Litigation Practice Groups. Her leadership and expertise have earned her notable accolades, including being named a Mid-South Rising Star by Super Lawyers and recognized among Tennessee’s Top 40 Under 40 Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers Association. Additionally, she was featured in the 2021 and 2022 editions of The Best Lawyers in America as a “Ones to Watch” in Employment Law – Individuals.

Leigh Anne’s practice focuses on cases involving discrimination, harassment, and financial services litigation. She has successfully represented individuals and classes in matters concerning gender, age, FMLA, and disability discrimination, as well as retaliation claims. Her financial services litigation expertise includes representing workers across the nation in cases of breach of fiduciary duty and mismanagement of 401(k) plans.

Admitted to practice in Tennessee and the District of Columbia, Leigh Anne has also contributed to legal scholarship. She co-authored the article "Brokerage Windows in 401(k) Plans: The Total Abdication of Fiduciary Responsibility," published in the Winter 2021 edition of the Benefits Law Journal.
