Brandon E. Bass

Brandon E. Bass serves as a shareholder at The Law Offices of John Day, P.C., based in Nashville, Tennessee. Since earning his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2002, Brandon has dedicated his career to the legal profession. He is deeply involved in several key legal organizations, including the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, where he contributes as an Executive Committee member, Board of Governors member, Amicus Curiae Committee Chair, and Mentor. He also serves on the New Lawyers Division Board of Governors for the American Association for Justice and participates in the Tennessee Bar Association's Leadership Law initiative. Additionally, Brandon is a Fellow and Mentor with the Nashville Bar Foundation.

Brandon has earned numerous accolades throughout his career. He has been listed in Best Lawyers since 2016 and recognized as a Super Lawyer annually since 2012. His professional excellence is further highlighted by a Martindale-Hubbell Preeminent Rating since 2011 and an Avvo rating of 10 out of 10 since 2010. Most recently, the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association honored him as Trial Lawyer of the Year for his exceptional client results amid challenging circumstances.

Beyond his legal practice, Brandon is a published author, contributing articles to Trial Magazine, the Tennessee Bar Journal, and The Tennessee Trial Lawyer. He has also served as Associate Editor for the Tennessee Tort Law Letter and the Tennessee Trial Law Report. In addition to his writing, Brandon frequently speaks at legal events hosted by the Nashville and Tennessee Bar Associations, the National Bar Institute, and the Nashville School of Law.
