Jeffrey W Rufolo

Jeffrey W. Rufolo began his journey in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 1983 when he attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on a wrestling scholarship. Captivated by the area, he decided to make it his home. As a dedicated attorney with Summers, Rufolo & Rodgers, Mr. Rufolo has built a reputation for effectively representing clients injured in workplace incidents, car accidents, and other premises liability cases due to negligence.

One of Mr. Rufolo's significant achievements includes overturning a trial court decision in a wrongful death case against Hamilton County, Tennessee. The case, Brown v. Hamilton County, 126 S.W.3d 43 2003 (Tenn. Ct. App. 2003), involved the tragic murder of a young man. His success in this appeal was likened to a "miracle" by a Tennessee legal publication.

Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Rufolo is deeply involved in his community. He is married to Laura Beth, an attorney, and they have one daughter. His community engagement includes roles as a high school wrestling referee, youth soccer coach, and vice president of the Chattanooga Takedown Club. Additionally, he serves on the alumni council of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is an active member of his church.
