Shaheen I. Imami

Shaheen I. Imami leads Imami Law, PLLC in Chattanooga, Tennessee, focusing exclusively on trusts and estates. His practice encompasses estate planning, trust and estate administration, and fiduciary litigation. With extensive experience in these areas, Mr. Imami provides practical and informed advice to clients primarily in Tennessee and Michigan, while collaborating with colleagues for nationwide assistance.

Mr. Imami earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Michigan State University and a law degree from Georgia State University College of Law. He has been practicing law since 1995 in Michigan and since 2022 in Tennessee. He is admitted to all state courts in Tennessee and Michigan, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Additionally, he is certified as a Michigan civil mediator through the Institute of Continuing Legal Education.

In 2013, Mr. Imami was elected as a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). He actively participates in the Fiduciary Administration Committee and the Business Planning Committee. Previously, he contributed to the Fiduciary Practice and Fiduciary Litigation Committees and served as the State Chair for Michigan. Mr. Imami has also held leadership roles, including past chair of the Executive Committee and council member for the Probate and Estate Planning Section.

Throughout his career, Mr. Imami has authored numerous articles and publications. He frequently lectures at continuing legal education events and conferences, including national meetings of ACTEC. He is also a regular participant in the Cambridge Forums on Private Wealth Litigation and Private Wealth Law.
