William J. Rieder

With a robust legal career spanning over 18 years, William J. Rieder has cultivated a diverse practice at the Hamilton Firm in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Initially, he dedicated his career to defending insurance companies and their insureds. Since 2007, he has adeptly represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants in various civil litigation cases.

Early in his career, William focused on Professional Negligence and Tort Liability claims. He successfully defended healthcare providers, including Physicians, Practice Groups, and Hospitals, as well as Attorneys in professional negligence cases. In tort liability, he managed cases involving motor vehicle accidents, trucking negligence, premises liability for hospitals and apartment complexes, and general liability claims for businesses, achieving numerous summary dismissals and favorable defense verdicts at trial.

As his practice evolved, William expanded into complex business litigation, representing clients in high-stakes cases.
