James Alan Flexer

James Alan Flexer is a seasoned attorney who has been serving the Columbia, Tennessee area with a focus on bankruptcy law. Born and raised in Nashville, he completed his education at Montgomery Bell Academy in 1974, earned his degree from Rhodes College in 1978, and graduated from Tulane School of Law in 1981. That same year, he established Flexer Law, where he has provided legal services to thousands of Middle Tennesseans facing bankruptcy.

Under his leadership, the firm has expanded to include eight skilled attorneys and a supportive team of paralegals and legal assistants, operating across three office locations in Middle Tennessee. James is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and the Nashville Bar Association.

James Flexer is also committed to education and advocacy within the legal community. He has delivered lectures at seminars organized by the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees and the Nashville Bar Association, focusing on consumer bankruptcy. Additionally, he frequently speaks to both legal and civic groups about consumer bankruptcy issues.
