Macey Dawson Gurley

Macey Dawson Gurley, an associate attorney at Rocco & Griffin, PLLC, has been with the firm since 2014. Raised in White County, Tennessee, she completed her high school education at White County High School, where she excelled as Senior Class President and graduated in the Top Ten of her class.

Macey pursued her undergraduate studies at Tennessee Technological University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, graduating summa cum laude. She received the Distinguished Senior Award and the Paul G. Stephenson Award for Honorary Student from the Political Science Department. Macey furthered her education at Regent University School of Law, where she obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence, graduating in the Top 25% of her class and earning the Eagle Award for her contributions to the Civil Practice Clinic.

During her time at law school, Macey served as Executive Editor for the Regent University Journal of Law & Public Policy and was actively involved in the Child Advocacy Practicum. Her legal practice focuses on family law, including divorce, child custody and support, adoption, and juvenile law.

Macey is a proud member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the National Association of Counsel for Children. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys working with children with special needs, reading, and hiking across Tennessee. She resides in Sparta with her husband, Brad, and their two dogs, Hattie and Howie.
