Jacob Strawn

Jacob Strawn serves as an associate attorney at Spicer Rudstrom in Memphis, focusing his practice on insurance defense, premises liability, products liability, and workers’ compensation. He earned his J.D. from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis, graduating second in his class. During his studies, Jacob achieved five CALI awards in areas such as Administrative Law, Business Organizations, Civil Procedure II, Secured Transactions, and Products Liability.

In addition to his academic accomplishments, Jacob was actively involved in law school activities. He served as Notes Editor for the University of Memphis Law Review, Vol. 46, and held the position of Associate Chief Justice for the Honor Council. His commitment to community service was evident during his first year, as he led the Advanced Directives Track for Alternative Spring Break, where he supported senior citizens in Memphis with completing advanced directive and durable power of attorney forms, contributing 40 hours of pro bono work.
