About Samuel G. Hall
Samuel G. Hall was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, and spent his formative years in Morristown and Bybee, Tennessee. He completed his high school education at Jefferson County High School in 2009 and earned an Associates of Applied Science in Nursing from Walters State Community College in 2011. Samuel began his career in healthcare as a Registered Nurse at Covenant Health in 2012.
He gained extensive experience working at Covenant Health and Ballad Health, formerly known as Mountain States Health Alliance, at Indian Path Medical Center for approximately a decade. In 2015, he furthered his education by obtaining a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from South University in Savannah, Georgia.
Samuel graduated magna cum laude from Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law in May 2019. During his time in law school, he received CALI awards in Lincoln's Constitution, Advanced Trial Advocacy, and MEE Studies II. His leadership roles included founding the Young Americans for Freedom law school chapter, serving as Sergeant in Arms of the Sons of Justice, and acting as Vice President of the Federalist Society. His scholarly article, "President Lincoln: Bending the Iron and Cracking the Code," was published, analyzing the constitutionality of President Lincoln's executive orders during the Civil War.
Before becoming an attorney, Samuel served as an expert witness in medical malpractice cases. He is currently the 2025 President of the Kingsport Bar Association and a past president of the Rotary of Kingsport-Sunrise club. He actively participates in his masonic lodge and serves on the board of directors for the Paramount Theater in Bristol, Tennessee. Samuel is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the House of Delegates.
Samuel is married to his high school sweetheart, Lanna, who is a nurse practitioner.
