Deontae D. Wherry

Deontae D. Wherry serves as a trial attorney at the Dallas office of Rob Wiley, P.C., where he specializes in representing employees in employment and labor disputes. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wherry gained extensive experience as a litigation attorney, passionately advocating for clients in civil, criminal, and family law cases.

A proud Red Raider, Mr. Wherry completed his education at Texas Tech University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He furthered his education by obtaining both a Doctor of Jurisprudence and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University School of Law and the Rawls College of Business in 2017. During his time in law school, he refined his advocacy skills through participation in national mock trial teams and the Board of Barristers. He also enhanced his legal research and writing capabilities as an Articles Editor for the Business & Bankruptcy Journal.

Mr. Wherry's commitment to justice and community service was evident throughout his academic career, as he actively participated in various organizations dedicated to these causes. He is currently a member of both the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
