About Mary Neal
Mary Neal has been a member of the Texas Bar since 2012. She earned her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from St. Mary’s University in the same year. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in 2007.
After initially engaging in civil defense litigation, Mary transitioned her focus to Family Law. Her commitment to her clients is evident as she passionately advocates for them, achieving numerous case completions in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She has also successfully defended appeals in the Second Court of Appeals in Fort Worth.
Before embarking on her legal career, Mary served as Program Director at the Downtown Oklahoma City YMCA and the Garland Family YMCA, where she worked closely with children and parents. Originally from Garland, Texas, she has lived in Austin, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi, as well as Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A proud sixth-generation Texan and member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, Mary enjoys spending her free time with her husband, family, and friends. She is an avid fan of Texas Rangers baseball and Texas Longhorns football.
