Bill Hulsey

Bill Hulsey has dedicated 35 years to practicing Patent and Trademark Law, primarily assisting inventors and entrepreneurs in the Southeast United States, with a focus on Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana. His commitment is to foster innovation and entrepreneurial growth through intellectual property development, promoting fair and collaborative commercialization.

Bill has successfully prosecuted and secured over 2,000 U.S. and international patents across diverse technology sectors such as energy, electronics, drones, robotics, artificial intelligence, consumer products, medical devices, chemical, and blockchain technologies. Additionally, he has obtained more than 1,500 trademarks for a wide range of entrepreneurs and companies.

Notably, Bill has represented an Apollo Program Astronaut in design patents for multifunctional air- and spacecraft and served Gordon Matthews, the inventor of voicemail. He has also crafted patents critical to Lockheed Aerospace's bid for the $200 billion F-35 Joint Strike Fighter contract with the U.S. Department of Defense.

Bill played a pivotal role in establishing the initial 100 patents for a silicon crystal solar cell fabrication technology recognized by the U.S. Patent Office as the "Holy Grail" in silicon fabrication. Furthermore, he initiated the U.S. Patent Office Pro Bono Inventor Assistance Program in Texas, supporting qualified inventors in collaboration with the USPTO Office of Innovation Development.
