Carl J Selesky

Carl J. Selesky established The Selesky Law Firm, L.L.P. in 2004, focusing on providing personalized legal services. He collaborates on select projects with colleagues and has represented national companies like Target, Met Life, and Toyota. Carl has partnered with prominent firms, including Baker Botts and Vinson & Elkins, while serving over 460 individual and business clients. His commitment to communication and service is paramount in every case.

Licensed in both Federal and Texas State courts, Carl possesses extensive trial experience across numerous counties, such as Harris, Travis, and Dallas. He has been appointed as an Amicus Attorney and Guardian Ad Litem for minors in custody disputes within Harris County Family District Courts. Carl is a former member of the American Inns of Court and remains active in the Houston and Austin Bar Associations, as well as the Family Law sections of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association.

Before founding his firm, Carl was with Woodfill & Pressler, L.L.P., from 2003 to 2004, where he managed an active trial docket in both State and Federal Courts. As lead attorney, he handled cases involving insurance bad faith, commercial litigation, and more, while maintaining a Family Law docket.

From 1993 to 2003, Carl worked at the Law Offices of John C. Osborne, managing a boutique civil firm docket. He developed his own clientele, overseeing all case aspects, including drafting writs and briefs for Texas State and Federal Courts.
