Daniel John Christensen

Daniel John Christensen is a distinguished attorney in Austin, Texas, recognized for his expertise in personal injury and civil trial law. He holds Board Certifications in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Daniel is an Associate Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a graduate of Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyer College.

His professional achievements include an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, recognition as a “Super Lawyer” by Texas Monthly, and listings in Best Lawyers in America and the National Trial Lawyers Association’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers. Daniel began his legal career in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG) at Ft. Hood, Texas, working as both a prosecutor and defense counsel. He later joined a prominent personal injury trial firm, where he served as Chief of Litigation for 15 years. In 2013, he established his own practice, focusing on representing injury victims throughout Texas.

His trial experience spans a wide range of cases, including negligent security, commercial trucking collisions, product defects, highway design, medical malpractice, FTCA, premises liability, and car accidents. Beyond his practice, Daniel is committed to the legal community, contributing articles to legal publications and speaking at various events. He also shares his knowledge as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas School of Law.
