Miguel Angel Salazar

Miguel Angel Salazar, the youngest child of Jaime and Maria Salazar, grew up in a modest household in Brownsville, Texas. Surrounded by three older sisters and an older brother, Miguel learned early the value of careful observation and purposeful communication. His parents, both self-made entrepreneurs, inspired him significantly, shaping his character and ambitions.

Miguel pursued his education at the University of Texas at Brownsville, where he earned a B.S. in Mathematics Education. This foundation led him to a successful career as a high school math teacher, where his passion for helping others blossomed. His teaching experience honed his ability to communicate effectively and concisely, a skill he now applies in his legal practice.

The decision to transition into law was made thoughtfully with his wife, Deisy, considering the impact on their family. Ultimately, Miguel enrolled at the South Texas College of Law, a respected institution known for its focus on practical legal training. Despite the challenges of balancing studies, work, and family life, he graduated successfully and passed the Texas State Bar on his first attempt.

Miguel's legal career is driven by a strong desire to serve the community of The Valley. His educational and professional journey reflects a deep commitment to providing effective legal representation, guided by his unique ability to view situations from multiple perspectives.
