Initially serving in three Montgomery County Courts, he was elevated to chief prosecutor in County Court at Law 4 by 2021. His prosecutorial experience further includes a two-year tenure as a felony prosecutor in the 359th District Court, where he adeptly managed thousands of cases, ranging from misdemeanors to felonies, representing the state. In his private practice, Nathan is devoted to upholding three core principles: providing honest fees, delivering quality representation, and ensuring exceptional client service. Born in Houston and raised in the Pineywoods Belt of East Texas, Nathan's journey in law began with a state championship in extemporaneous speaking at Apple Springs High School, igniting his passion for the courtroom. He pursued his higher education at Texas A&M University, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science with minors in history and sports management, and a certificate in leadership studies.
During his time at Texas A&M, Nathan was an active member of the Corps of Cadets and was honored to be selected by his peers for the esteemed Ross Volunteer Company. He advanced his legal education by obtaining his Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from the University of Houston Law Center, achieving bar admission in Texas in 2016. While in law school, Nathan was a student senator and twice chaired the Student Fee Advisory Committee. He also represented the law school’s mock trial team in numerous tournaments nationwide. Today, Nathan continues his involvement with the University of Houston, frequently serving as a judge for mock trial and moot court competitions.
