Tony Pletcher

Tony Pletcher is a highly respected attorney in Corpus Christi, Texas, with a legal career spanning several decades. Admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1975, he also holds licenses with the State Bar of Tennessee and multiple federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court and the US Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Tony's commitment to the legal profession is evident through his service on the State Bar of Texas District 11-A Grievance Committee, where he served as Chairman from 1991 to 1995, and his involvement with the Texas State Court Rules Committee as Vice Chairman from 1996 to 1997. His dedication extends to the Texas Lawyers Assistance Program, where he contributed from 1984 to 2013.

Tony is a recognized speaker for the SBOT CLE, presenting on ethics, grievance rules, and professional challenges. His contributions to the legal community have earned him the status of a Texas Bar Foundation-Sustaining Life Fellow and membership in the Pro Bono College of the State Bar of Texas. In addition to his legal practice, Tony is a Certified Mediator and serves on the board of the Texas Attorney Mediator Coalition. He is actively involved with St. Mary's University, serving as a board member of the St. Mary's Law School Alumni Association and as a Founding Trustee of the St. Mary's Law Foundation. His community engagement includes roles such as Commissioner of the Port of Corpus Christi, board member of Doctor’s Regional Hospitals-HCA, and Chairman of the Art Museum of South Texas. Tony also led the Incarnate Word Academy Million Dollar Capital Campaign.
