Casey’s legal career began with a strong foundation as a prosecutor and intern at the Tarrant and Denton County District Attorney’s Offices. Here, she gained valuable experience in departments such as Crimes Against Children, Juvenile, and Family Violence. With a track record of over 50 jury trials, she is well-equipped to take cases to court when necessary.
Her prosecutorial experience includes presenting more than 1000 felony cases to the grand jury and collaborating with local police to prepare cases for grand jury presentations. Casey’s courtroom experience extends to punishment hearings, motions to suppress, bench trials, probation revocation hearings, and bond reduction hearings, all of which she now applies to her defense practice.
Raised in Plano, Texas, Casey graduated from Plano Senior High School and earned a BS in Education from the University of North Texas. Before pursuing law, she taught in Plano and Richardson. Her legal education culminated in a Juris Doctorate from Texas A & M University School of Law in 2003. After serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Tarrant County, she founded Casey Davis Law, Criminal Defense Firm in March 2008.
