About David Scott Snellings

David Scott Snellings discovered his passion for personal injury law during a college internship with renowned attorney Cecil “Cas” Casterline. This experience, particularly involving a tragic case of a multiple fatality crash, motivated Scott to pursue a legal career focused on helping victims and their families.

Born in Lubbock, Texas, where his father was a Texas Tech Red Raider, Scott moved to Plano at the age of three. He attended local schools and played football at Plano East Senior High School. Initially aspiring to be a medical doctor while studying at Baylor University, Scott's career path shifted after his internship, leading him to apply to the Baylor University School of Law.

During his time at law school, Scott excelled academically, becoming a member of the Baylor Law Review, Order of the Barristers, and the Abner McCall chapter of the Inns of Court. Upon graduation, he joined the insurance and product liability defense firm of Hartline, Dacus, Barger, Dreyer & Kern, L.L.P., where he honed his litigation skills defending personal injury and product defect claims.

In 2008, Scott transitioned to representing injured victims by co-founding The Burress Snellings Law Firm. His practice focused on clients suffering moderate to catastrophic injuries and families affected by fatal negligence. This experience paved the way for the creation of Snellings Law PC, where Scott is committed to providing superior service. He ensures clients are actively involved, receive necessary medical treatment, and have confidence in his expert advocacy.
