Dominique M. Williams

Dominique M. Williams, originally from New Orleans, pursued her undergraduate studies in finance at Loyola University New Orleans. After a gap year in Oakland, California, she returned to New Orleans, balancing full-time work while completing her degree. Her commitment to education and her field is evident in her academic journey.

Dominique advanced her legal education at Tulane University New Orleans, where she obtained her Juris Doctor. Her focus was on corporate and intellectual property law, areas in which she excelled. During her time at Tulane, she was an active participant in the Black Law Student’s Association Mock Trial Team, competing at both regional and national levels. She also contributed to the Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property, where her article, "Problem Solved: Is the Fintech Era Uprooting Decades of Discriminatory Lending Practices," was published in Volume 23. The article explored the intersection of artificial intelligence and alternative lending.

Now residing in Dallas, Dominique enjoys exploring the local culture, including shopping, trying diverse cuisines, and traveling.
