Alejandro Acosta

Alejandro Acosta III, a native of El Paso, Texas, is a partner at Tawney, Acosta & Chaparro, P.C., where he specializes in personal injury law. He serves clients in both Texas and New Mexico. Mr. Acosta completed his undergraduate studies at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, and earned his law degree from the Arizona State Law School/ Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. He also holds an Indian Law Certificate and has collaborated with various tribal nations in Arizona.

Licensed to practice since 2008, Mr. Acosta is admitted to the bars of both Texas and New Mexico. Additionally, he is authorized to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico. Throughout his career, Mr. Acosta has handled cases at the state, federal, and appellate levels.

His expertise includes litigating claims related to automobile accidents, dram shop liability, employment-related injuries, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, premises liability, products liability, and wrongful death.
