Anna Summersett

Anna Summersett is a founding partner at Varghese Summersett, where she plays a pivotal role in managing the firm's business operations. As a Board Certified Criminal Law Specialist and seasoned trial attorney, Anna has handled thousands of criminal cases, including over 100 jury trials in Texas, covering charges from DWI to capital murder.

Before entering private practice, Anna gained valuable experience as a prosecutor at both the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office and the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office. She is well-versed in all stages of criminal proceedings, from post-arrest investigations to jury trials, and is particularly noted for her expertise in DWI cases and plea negotiations.

In 2023, Anna was honored as a Forty Under Forty by the Fort Worth Business Press, recognizing her professional achievements and community contributions. She was also a finalist in Fort Worth Inc. Magazine’s Entrepreneur of Excellence Awards, celebrating her entrepreneurial leadership in the Fort Worth area.
