Deontae D. Wherry

Deontae D. Wherry serves as a trial attorney at Rob Wiley, P.C., located in Dallas, Texas. His practice is centered on representing employees in employment and labor disputes, where he is committed to ensuring justice for his clients.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Wherry practiced as a litigation attorney, where he passionately advocated for clients across civil, criminal, and family law cases. His dedication to client advocacy remains a cornerstone of his current role.

A proud Red Raider, Mr. Wherry earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas Tech University. He furthered his education by obtaining a Doctor of Jurisprudence and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University School of Law and the Rawls College of Business in 2017. During his time in law school, he excelled in advocacy through participation in national mock trial teams and the Board of Barristers. He also served as an Articles Editor for the Business & Bankruptcy Journal, gaining valuable legal research and writing skills.

Mr. Wherry is actively involved in the legal community as a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and is honored to represent Dallas employees in their employment disputes.
