Veronica Chavez Law

Veronica Chavez Law has been a Shareholder and Director at Brackett & Ellis, P.C. since 2014, where she focuses on complex commercial real estate transactions and representing financial institutions. Her legal career, which began in 1995, includes experience at top regional law firms and serving as general counsel for a corporation. Veronica is licensed to practice in all state courts in Texas and Colorado.

Veronica boasts over 25 years of experience in transactional work, assisting both businesses and individuals. Her expertise spans financial, real estate, and business transactions.

A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Veronica earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with Business Emphasis, magna cum laude, in 1992. She honed her research and writing skills as an economics research assistant. She later received her law degree from the University of Colorado Law School in 1995, where she was President of her graduating class and a research assistant in property and water law.

Her accolades are numerous, including recognition as one of Fort Worth’s 400 Most Influential People by Fort Worth Magazine in 2022. She has been named a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star and holds a Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished Rating for High Professional Achievement.

Veronica is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, and Tarrant County Bar Association, where she has served as President of the Women’s Section and as a Director. Beyond her legal practice, she is a Licensed Agent by the Texas Real Estate Commission and a member of the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth.
