William Travis Patterson

Travis Patterson is a seasoned trial lawyer in Fort Worth, Texas, focused on advocating for individuals who have been harmed by negligence or corporate misconduct. Travis is passionate about helping those affected by the careless actions of others, including negligence, distraction, intoxication, or greed. His mission is to stand up for people facing injustices from large corporations and insurance companies, offering them the opportunity to seek justice in court.

Travis honed his legal skills under the mentorship of esteemed trial lawyers throughout Texas. He leverages these experiences daily to effectively represent his clients. Travis obtained both his business and law degrees in Austin, where he was actively involved in the Texas Cowboys, a student organization dedicated to public service. One of his fondest memories from this time was participating in shooting Smokey the Cannon at university football games.

Before establishing the Patterson Law Group, Travis gained valuable experience at Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller, LLP in Fort Worth, and Haynes and Boone, LLP in Dallas. He also served as a visiting prosecutor in the Arlington Municipal Court. During law school, he clerked for the Honorable Lawrence E. Meyers at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, where he met his wife and law partner, Anna Patterson.

A native of Tarrant County, Travis is deeply rooted in community service, following in the footsteps of his family. His grandfather, Harold Patterson, was Arlington’s Mayor and served on the City Council for over two decades. His father, Mike Patterson, contributed to the School Board and Planning & Zoning Commission, while his uncle, Roy English, held the position of Tarrant County Judge. Travis is committed to continuing his family's legacy of community service through his legal practice.
