David Scott Snellings

David Scott Snellings discovered his passion for personal injury law during a summer internship with renowned attorney Cecil “Cas” Casterline. This experience, particularly a case involving a tragic 18-wheeler accident, inspired him to help victims and their families. Originally from Lubbock, Scott moved to Plano, Texas, at age three, where he attended local schools and played football at Plano East Senior High School. Initially aspiring to be a medical doctor while studying at Baylor University, Scott's career path shifted towards law after his impactful internship.

Scott was accepted into the Baylor University School of Law, where he excelled academically. He was an active member of the Baylor Law Review, Order of the Barristers, and the Abner McCall chapter of the Inns of Court. Upon graduating, he joined Hartline, Dacus, Barger, Dreyer & Kern, L.L.P., focusing on defending personal injury and product defect claims. There, he honed his skills under the guidance of top trial attorneys.

In 2008, Scott co-founded The Burress Snellings Law Firm, shifting his focus to representing injured victims. His practice included advocating for clients with moderate to catastrophic injuries and supporting the families of those who lost their lives due to negligence. This extensive experience led him to establish Snellings Law PC, where he aims to provide superior service by ensuring clients are actively involved in their cases, receive necessary medical treatment, and have a seasoned professional advocating for them throughout the legal process.
