Andrew Philip Slania

Andrew Philip Slania graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Saint Louis University in 2003, where he also excelled as a catcher for the baseball team, earning the Outstanding Performance award from Conference USA. He continued his education at the University of Houston Law Center, obtaining his Juris Doctorate in 2006. There, he was an editor for the Houston Law Review and received the Best Law Review Comment designation for his work on Corporate Law.

Licensed to practice in Texas and Arizona, Mr. Slania was recognized by Thomson Reuters in the Texas Super Lawyers List in 2022 and the Super Lawyers Texas Rising Stars list in 2010 and from 2018 to 2020. His legal career has been marked by significant achievements in litigation, particularly in the insurance sector.

In 2015, Mr. Slania co-founded the Raizner Slania firm, where he has been instrumental in resolving substantial litigation matters against the insurance industry. As a Partner, he is dedicated to achieving optimal results efficiently, earning a national reputation for his meticulous investigations into business conduct to secure fair settlements.

Mr. Slania has served as lead handling attorney on numerous commercial property insurance disputes and as lead counsel on both maritime injury and traumatic brain injury cases. He has also acted as trial counsel in several prosecutorial matters, achieving a successful judgment in U.S. Immigration Court to secure political asylum for a Colombian client.

Active in the legal community, Mr. Slania has presented to various insurance-related trade associations and co-authored a course on personal injury law for the State Bar of Texas.
