Born in New Delhi, India, Arpita moved to Houston in 2002. Demonstrating academic excellence, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at just 19. Her practice addresses complex property divisions, high net worth divorces, and intricate child custody battles, where her business and tax background offers a unique perspective on her clients' needs.

Arpita began her legal career in international tax planning at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, one of the world's leading accounting firms. Seeking a more personal connection with her work, she transitioned to family law, where she found her passion in guiding clients through significant life changes. Before co-founding Oxner Legha, she managed over 50 family law cases as a lead attorney.

Arpita is committed to her community, providing legal aid to domestic abuse victims through DAYA Houston. She resides in Houston with her husband, Jagroop, and their dogs, Romeo and Storm. Outside of her legal practice, Arpita enjoys playing the drums.
